Well, yesterday I collected at least 40, 10 today, hope numbers are going down. But I tell you, I not only found them on my roses and grapevines, but since they pretty much munched all that I am actually finding them on my Marigolds which surprised me because I thought the smell would deter them from those. From what I read it is soon time they disappear for the season, maybe then I can actually have roses! And I just planted some tall Phlox and read 2 different views on the internet, one said the JB like them and another said not bothered by them, thankfully have never seen one on the Phlox. Next season we are getting Milky Spore and maybe some Neem to combat them. I hope since I drowned tons, and I mean tons that it makes less next year, less eggs were laid and I HATE these bugs.
You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because they have roses!
