I had them under a light shelf in fall, they grew great and set lots of buds, then I moved it to my bedroom where each flower lasts a long time, and the total display even longer. But I killed them by putting them out in summer- too hot.
I have a hard time keeping a few plants inside in summer when everything else is out and that's where all my focus is.

I am the same way. If I leave the plant inside it gets really neglected. Although these do better inside I just move them outside anyway and put them in deep shade. At least they will get watered if they are outside. If I leave them inside they will not get watered.

Sometime when I bring them inside I have to cut a lot of dead leaves but by the end of winter they are gorgeous because they have been in the house where they are happy.
