I purchased my marble queen as a small $4 plant. It appeared to just sit there for a couple of months, then eventually showed signs of growth. Now it has picked up, but it I would say it's growing at only about 1/3 the speed of golden pothos.
Veriegated plants have less chlorophyll than non-veriegated, thus they are slower growers.
