If you have not grown hollyhocks before don't be disappointed when you don't get flowers next year
Hollyhocks are bi-annuals ...first year you only get leaves the second year they flower.

They are beautiful flowers and worth the wait Thumbs up
..a balanced life is worth pursuit.
