I am almost always barefoot in my yard, so mown lawn pathways work best for me. I have a few bark paths as well, but those are a bit rough on bare feet when first laid down. They do tend to soften as they age, and sometimes the bark is soft to begin with. I also have a fair amount of poured concrete sidewalks, easy to maintain but not nearly as nice looking. For anything wheeled, though, they work the best.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
