I try to be smart on how I do things... From a financial standpoint to being eco-friendly. I may fail at attempting some things or it may take me a while to figure it out by tinkering with it... But would much rather fail at trying, than failing automatically by not trying at all. My cousin had stopped by earlier (who is a gardening whiz) & was surprised with what I did with using the branches as supports. He asked me how in the world did I know to do that? I told him "duh, you're the brainiac, figure it out. Tomatoes get heavy, isn't it obvious? The stakes need to be supported because the heavy tomatoes will pull one way & supports will counterbalance that". And said it with a smug look on my face. It was my moment to shine & did so gracefully.
A transplanted New Yorker now living in Southern California..... Rudeness is the weak person's imitation of strength.
