I forgot to mention, the first week of July I took cuttings off my mums and planted 2 in the ground, they are iffy but still have green to them, and one I
put in a clay pot which really took off and has small buds all over it, so after fall it will over winter in the garage and get planted in the ground in spring. I read that
spring is the time to plant them in the ground around this climate so the roots get a good start before winter.....I know this has nothing to do with Kings Mums but
wanted to tell you about my cuttings I meant to mention in my earlier post. My plan for next spring is to line them all along the driveway embankment above
the driveway for fall color every year. Hurray!
You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because they have roses!
