No it is not. Has about half the keeping qualities of yellow Granex. I can keep them about 3 months without refrigeration. Of course all onions keep pretty well when refrigerated. There is a series of short day onions from New mexico State. You might want to contact them to see if any of their varieties have keeping qualities. In most cases short day onions tend to be sweet, the long day very pungent onions are the storage onions. Radiance is an excellent onion for both production a nd flavor.
