I've finally finished the 'jungle' bed. There is still a lot more that needs to go in there but I'm done for this year. The Gazebo Corners worked out perfectly! I decided not to put in the EE until next Spring so I can see how bushy what is in the ground comes up again. Around the middle of September I'll be taking cuttings of the 'iffy' Zone 8 plants like Abutilon. I sunk empty pots into the ground for the Tropical Hibiscus since they have to be overwintered in the greenhouse. I didn't put down a 'path' either and I may not.
