That was my original suggestion. With that change the so-called "weird reassignment" would become a gap, which is better from the standpoint of consistency and specificity. Whatever you decide. With my own photos I have been representing the hybrids which don't have their own entries on the genus (parent) pages, where they can be useful with a caption.
