No, I don't think Coleus seeds would have come from cooking dinner either, but it's possible that a packet of seeds was purchased and also added to the pot, a stretch but it looks like a Coleus. Look also at Perilla frutescens, (shiso,) an edible close relative of Coleus.

What part of the world are you in?
