This was one of the larger ones, most of them weighed about 8 OZ.

I picked them a bit before they were ripe as the birds were beginning to find them. Today, I canned the ones that were ripe. Kept the rest to make a pie, and eat fresh as they ripen. Smiling

I should have used wide mouth jars, as they were large, and a few of them got a bit mangled putting them in the jar, but I had them already washed and sterilized, so I just squeezed them in. I was one jar short, so I did use one wide mouth and that worked much better. Next time I'll know better. If I remember that is. Whistling

That makes my mouth water, they sure look delicious.
