...Sweet crisp lettuce...
I was walking by the "north 40" clump of fulva and thought "why not?"
I didn't have anything else blooming to "guinea pig" myself with, the lighter colors are supposed to taste better, and I decided to quit being intimidated by a new food.. We've had threads and posts concerning eating daylilies, but from what I understand, most of us are a little weirded out by eating flowers...
I enjoyed it and will be harvesting flowers next summer off of good ol' H. fulva for salads.
Anyone else enjoy a flower or two this summer?

Bravery is not being unafraid. Bravery is being afraid and living life anyways.
