18 yr old in my subtropical garden!
You have inspired me to taste test my blooms this year. I tried some a few years back. Not bad, not great. I think the sepals were a better, crunchier texture. I will head for the diamond dusted as I have a few.

I asked at a local Asian supermarket if they had "golden threads", dried daylilies or any dried flowers for stir fry. The Vietnamese shop owners didn't know what I was talking about. Maybe in Sydney or San Francisco where there are Chinatown areas??
