Im no quitter.. I will garden in TN
This is what i have decided to make i have 3 now. It is worth the effort to make. I had a old rotted black cherry in the yard that fell years ago before i moved here. It was almost like paper. I just chunked it up in movable peices and wateted it well then added leaves moss compost some local clay dirt and some old horse manure. Watered every layer. Planted the next week after watering each day. It uses up things that are in your yard it take less watet all summer and for me my clay soil is brutal and i decided ide rather do this than keep loosing every effort i put in by just planting in this clay. It takes far less time to weed as well . my grandparents did this every year this is the way they did it both wete from germany. They had latge families to feed and grandma said she didnt have the time to piddle with weeding and every year was unbelievable yeilds. So i figure its worth the paying attention to her thats helping me now
Respect mother Earth and connect with her .. She will return the favor.
