I have that sort of dilemma every spring before my first mow. The lawn is usually full of violets, with wild cinquefoil growing down by the creek, and wild strawberries here and there. Magic for a day or two, then all gone with the first swipe of the mower. Thumbs down The grasses get so unruly though that it really does have to be cut before they seed.
