Canning tomato sauce:
I used to use a food mill but have since purchased a chinoise (even though I cannot pronounce the name) It works good to remove all but the smallest seeds. I do not discard the liquid; cook it down until the volume is sufficiently reduced and add it back to the tomatoes.
