Chuck, you should have bought it from Judy .......... I always get bloom the year it's planted when I order from her in the Spring.
I love this daylily with it's large bright orange blooms and well branched scape. It has those northern genes that make it hardy in the north, but it doesn't increase as fast as some of Judy's other introductions, which is a plus for me.
