Installed a pondLESS water feature with several waterfalls along a very long straight run ending in a disappearing river rock topped area housing the pump to send water up to the top.
The waterfalls caused a lot of evaporation in summer and the pump kept shutting down when reservoir got too low
I needed 4 x the size (NOT MY ERROR --THE LANDSCAPER DID THAT PARTICULAR MATH) reservoir
short story short... I had to enlarge into a HUGE deep WIDE hole.. Filled it with black plastic drainage pipe to maintain area volume of water.....covered it with dark fabric and once again topped with river rock...BUT NOW I HAVE A NICE DEEP 1-2feet of water....pond.
The landscaping design did not allow for nor anticipate needing a filter..skimmer..blah blah...
Now the issue is muck.. From stuff... Leaves mostly...dead frogs...😳
I need a pond vac that RETURNS water to the pond. Well can't be used.
NO plants to worry about..No fish to worry about..no algae to gunk up the vac....just muck and some leaves.
Shop vacs fill too quickly....and no return hose....
River rock big enough so no worry it will get sucked up.
Just want the muck feature with necessary vcuum strength and a return hose
Any suggestions...over my head..no experience.
Assuming these are electrically driven? Concern is not enough driving power if water driven.
Thanks!
Here are photos.. BAD few weeks with no rain. Waiting for storm.. This would be ideal time to vac..can hop in there. Normally the water level is very high..that wall of rock mostly UNDER water.
The turtle ( sitting on the submerged pump ) is my water marker..it is usually submerged with just a 50 cent sized piece of dry metal at the top when pond overflows at one end..
