The Ag department only cares about food crops this is evident with them allowing the known importation of canna virus infected canna lilies into the US. Now every canna lily you buy from both brick and morter stores and websites are infected. Also if you've grown them for a number of years and don't have canna virus purchasing a new one can and likely will spread it to your old unaffected ones. The only safe way to grow new cannas are from seed and many of the nicer ones don't produce viable seed.

Becky I'll swap some daylily seeds with you. I'm sure I'll have something that may interest you.
