robynanne said:I figure they're fine, but thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. The green bean leaves are looking pretty hideous about now. Black blister spots all over them, browning and general not plain healthy green. The beans themselves seem fine, and yield isn't going down. I figure there's not much to be done about the leaves now. The beans will be grown somewhere else next year and I'll burn all the plants after I pull them.

In the meantime, it's fine to harvest and eat the beans now, right?

Thanks!

Yup, the beans themselves are fine to pick and eat.

Not so unusual for bean plants to get sickly as they get older. When mine get done like that I simply pull them.
