It was raining when I left for Starbucks about 11am, but this White Peacock insisted on sitting on the Porterweed.

Eventually, it stopped raining. I always say the day after a rainy day (or three rainy days) is a great time to spot butterflies because they're all hungry!

This female Spicebush did a quick fly by.

I think this Cloudless Sulphur was new because it couldn't fly too well. Plus, look how flawless it is. I got it on my finger for about two seconds before it tried to take off again. I told it to be careful - there was a Robber Fly nearby!

This afternoon, I had another Pipevine Swallowtail emerge! Hurray! Appeared to be female.
