My 2016 seedlings have been very slow to germinate this year.I did a count last month and only 41 out of about 1000 sown seed were up.I think it was because I did not soak them in tea for 3 days and then refrigerate for 4-6 weeks before sowing.Or maybe seed quality was very poor due to the season?Or maybe they may still emerge.Or possible my heart wasn't into it at that time as my beautiful Mischa (German Shepherd) was killed by a snake.Thankfully I'm over that.
Here is a picture of the 2016 yet-to-germinate seed.
