When winter threatens to show up, these 3 sprouts will be my newest potted palms. I just noticed them a few days ago & put rocks around them to make sure I don't step on them.

Whenever I see ripe palm seeds that I can reach on a tree in a public area or already on the ground, I grab some. I have no idea which gathering the seeds that yielded these sprouts were, but YAY! I'm so happy to see them! They're not necessarily hardy here, most of the seeds I've found in FL, so these will be potted... well, at least 2. This is not a bad spot for a palm & it could be a hardy one...
The golden rule: Do to others only that which you would have done to you.

The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The 2nd best time is now. (-Unknown)
