Jim I have come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as too old seed. Mislabeled, yes. Not happy with weather, site, insects yes. But too old, never!
This year I tried out some REALLY old seed to decide whether it was finally time to toss them. Here's the result.
Nolana paradoxa, Blue Bird. Seed from 1997. Too bad I wasn't quick enough to get seed.
