Sondra's post made me go give a close look at my Epiphyllum and sure enough I found a tiny little bud growing!! It'll be a while as it's only about 1/4" long today.

Had another Brugmansia bloom. This was supposed to be 'Isabella', but I'm wondering if I managed to mix tags on the cuttings and it's really 'Tequila Sunrise' which was one of the cuttings. What do you all think? In any case, it sure didn't change to pink and never went through a white stage at all. There is a faint pink wash over the yellow. The blooms are smaller than those of 'Eternity' which is just exploding right now. I can't wait to see 'Eternity' in the morning!

One of the Achimenes has finally decided to bloom. I don't know what's going on with them this year. This is usually finishing up now instead of just starting. This plant is about 3' in diameter for some perspective.

My favorite new plant this summer doesn't bloom - Nephrolepis biserrata 'Macho'. I'm going to count it anyway. Something bit off and totally removed a frond that was, well, a macho frond Big Grin over 3' feet in length. I don't know what did it and there was no sign of the frond to be found. That was the only damage. Next year I hope to get it situated in a much larger container. And if I can devise something to my liking, I'll elevate it up higher in the hopes that will prevent anything except Carolina wrens from getting into it.
