Leslie, garden forks and spading forks are two different things. The garden forks are more petite so they can get between plants and pull up a specific plant. Being small myself, I love the smaller forks and shovels. If you just want a standard fork go to Ace hardware, Lowes or somewhere else and get a stock one. That should do you fine and it will cost less. You might want to keep this smaller one around for it's intended purpose.
