The basic Virginia Creeper grows wild all over the place here in Ontario, Canada Zone 4a so it should be OK. I believe the Engelman version of it is a bit smaller in habit but it is advertised for sale as hardy to Zone 3.

This page from U of Illinois Extension lists some others hardy to Zone 3 and suggests their preferred growing conditions:
