Patrick, I've had a few lose the green leaves after planting. They were a situation like Arlyn described, they had to wait a few weeks for me to get them planted and the leaf tips were browning by the time I got around to it. Those leaves continued to brown till they died off, but I can see little new ones arising from the rhizomes now.
