I use the bags to collect seeds from my poppies. I used to be either too late or too early to collect seeds. then read about the organza bags and now I just put a small plastic chip with the color of the poppy in a bag, pop it over the pod when the bloom finishes and wait. I still watch the bags so see when the cap is dry and the seeds are going to spill, then cut them off and put them on my work bench til I have time to actually cut the top off and empty the seeds in the bag. They stay dry (used to mold sometimes in medicine bottles) and healthy. I then dump them in a small creamer container making it easier to pour into small zip locks when they are nice and dry. No mislabeling, no green seeds, no loss of seeds in putting into tiny zip locks. Yeah.
