Aww, they are so pretty!

Maybe if you cook them, the heat will subside enough that they can be enjoyed?
You can make a "pepper vodka" by dicing a few into a small bottle of vodka kept in the freezer.

If not, you can dry or freeze them and then make bug sprays and squirrel-deterrents next year.

Plus, I read that rubbing hot peppers on the top rail of a fence will keep wild elephants out of your garden.
