I identify strongly with most of the posts above: at first glance, I resist and fear almost all change, even improvements, since I've become an Old Guy.

>> As uncomfortable as I am with change, this is ONE change that I'm looking forward to seeing, just because it IS Dave & Trish making the change

>> I am resistant to change in my life.

>> The older we get, the harder to change,

BUT everything I've seen Dave and Trish do, (now Dave, Trish and Jon), have been better than what went before, and broke new ground by being better than ANY gardening site I had seen before.

So I also agree 100% with these:

>> I sincerely believe that whatever changes they have in mind will be well thought out and will be positive. I think a lot of the concern I read is simply because human nature makes us a bit uncomfortable with change.

>> "New and improved" actually is true around here.

>> I've been around about as long as Dave and Trish have given us new garden sites and I've never looked back nor have I ever been disappointed.

>> Way to go Dave and Trish. Thank you for all you do.

It often takes me weeks (or months, or years) to admit that some change in my life WAS for the better. I'm going to try to curtail my grumping and grumbling until that light dawns on me, after seeing the fruits of all the work they've done.

A total re-write! Changing platforms! Major, dude! Thank you for all the work!

(And I guess appealing to mobile devices is a total necessity in the modern world. The dashboard idea sounds wonderful to me, and will probably allow people who use desktops to customize things back in the direction of keyboards-and-monitors.)
