I have never liked sourdough ..and I so wish I did because all the nice restaurants around here put it on the table...ugh. I would even tolerate rosemary.....
I bought a french bread from the co-op bakery ...SHOULD NOT have been sourdough. Got it home...and there was that distinctive flavor. Went back to store next day to read the little description on the bread case...sure enough they said "we make this witha bit of sourdough...but it does not taste like sourdough....Ha!
Their homemade sliced white ..called "wonderful bread" ....got it home and sure enough....they decided to make two types of Wonderful ..one with the sourdough evil stuff!
