I have made cauliflower rice and "fried" it in coconut oil. Not bad. Broccoli fixed that way.....meh!

Another thing about taste is what we are used to. A friend of mine eats gluten free pastas which are made from rice. They don't taste bad to me just that they don't taste like what I am thinking it should taste like. Actually what I am used to it tasting like.

Another friend once brought me something she cooked and she said that was rice on the side. Well, didn't look or taste like the white rice I am used to. Asked her again what that delicious stuff was that I just knew wasn't rice!! Well she said it was brown rice.
