First trip was 6.0 a year and a half ago and now it's 6.2 but mainly because she quit eating salads for lunch for awhile.

Checking your sugar helps you pay attention to what affects you and what doesn't. She's on one pill and checks her sugar after every meal plus keeps a food journal to keep track of what she eats so if she has high sugar at one point she can narrow down the culprit.

I've been watching this site, www.sugarfreemom.com and I have tried some of her recipes. They are good!! Plus switch from sugar to Stevia and it won't affect your sugar as much. Even better do as my grandma does and grow it. I made a strawberry pie and frozen lemonade pie back in July using Stevia and they were both a hit! I used a half cup Stevia instead a cup of sugar. Not easy to lay off the sugar but we make it work with some whining thrown in. Hilarious!
