Yea marica i keep mine on the dry side but being tropical they can deal with moderate humidity, they don't need misting like dracaena but i occasionally do! I've decide I'm goin to keep the tc cutting in its own pot so the yucca wouldn't be effected too much I've took a pic of where it would be placed!
Yea greg Im not fond of perlite either for that exact reason! I might try adding some compost and sharp sand come spring and do away with the perlite.
