If it is already growing outdoors in a container at a local garden centre or nursery, and is a honeysuckle that is known to be hardy in your location, then there shouldn't be a problem. I assume it would also have a warranty, you might want to check on that and keep the receipt. Make sure to water it well in the pot the day before you plant it. If it is a different scenario, such as you want to dig a rooted piece from a friend's plant, I would wait until spring.
