Both of mine are the same. The one that grow around here sometime start out with light yellow on green stripes that fade to pure yellow as they mature. I think Candice's are like mine. Dudaim Melons are yellow and dark orange stripes. Mine, Candice's and Dudaim Melons are all the same Cucumis melo, just different vars. I have no idea how to tell the different vars apart other than var. dudaim has the dark stripes.
