Whew, Gene, that sounds like some good exercise too! Your plants that I've seen all look very happy from your efforts!

I don't use drip trays or have any light fixtures, & take plants outside on nice days for a drink during winter. The only thing I check for before bringing inside is ants in the soil. AFAIK, there are no pests on plants, I check constantly. The occasional armyworm does show up, I toss those into the "grass." There are anoles that hang out on my plants, so I've never sprayed any 'cides. I'll start monitoring forecast for potential frost in mid-late Oct. Last year it was late Nov, plants back outside 3/1. Hoping for a short winter again!
