I wouldn't expect to find any buds until a couple/few weeks after the equinox. (Nights longer than days and temps below 85 are what causes the buds to form.)

Now is the time to level-off any tips with tiny pads at the tips, and put in a spot where there are no lights on when it's dark outside (or cover with a box during those hours.)
