Spidery types are not my favorite form for daylilies, but I do appreciate them more now than in the past. I do grow KL and have had it for about a dozen years. My 13 year old daughter won't let me get rid of it as she loves it (My son won't let me get rid of Spiderman). She refers to KL at "Banana Peels." It does very well in my Zone 5 garden and blooms consistently. My daughter, who has very little interest in my hobby, has hybridized with it and the seedlings are below. I have come to appreciate its simple elegance.
