Karen, your package arrived safe and sound and you don't need to send a box, don't worry. Most of the packages seem to be arriving in envelopes anyway, which is probably good because then they can be stuffed easier in my mailbox, fitting around any boxes; that way the postman doesn't have to leave them on the porch (with potential to get rained on).
Both boxes and envelopes have their strengths, so to speak, I don't think it matters which you use, personally. Whatever fits the seeds the best.
