Finally getting around to posting a new batch of photos. For late season interest, I have a few things that just started blooming, have a few things reblooming, and a few things continuing to bloom. Here goes.
Reblooming - butterfly weed. And near it on my Black Adder agastache, I was really happy to see some Monarchs, as well as one sunning itself on my false indigo. Got a good picture of that one. And one Apricot Sparkles daylily!
Still blooming - actually quite a few things, but I am only posting photos of the NOID phlox and Blue Flame phlox in the front, Jim Crockett boltonia, yellow wax bells, and a spot that I like in the middle of the front border.
I am totally confused by sedum kamtschaticum...some is blooming red, some yellow, and it has bloomed on and off all summer long. I had thought this one was a yellow spring bloomer.???
And now on to probably my three favorite things that were worth waiting all summer to see. Snow Fairy caryopteris is the most stunning plant ever, but totally impossible to photograph to really show its beauty. The Samindare bush clover is putting on quite a show. And the first Blue Wonder toad lily opened up.
