I've had one growing perfectly happy and healthy in my office for about 2 years now. It only gets typical artificial office lighting and virtually -0- natural light. It's a slow but steady grower. I only water it once every 2-3 weeks. I purposely keep it on the dry side just to ensure I don't overwater it and cause it to rot.

It even has a leaf baby growing in it. I accidentally broke a leaf off of it while rotating it one time. (I rotate the plant 1/4 turn every other day.) I snipped off the petiole end of the leaf (actually almost to about the halfway point), and just stuck it in the soil. It hasn't sent up any growth yet, but I do know that it is well rooted and has formed a little bulblet at this point. I have about in inch of pure sand on the top of the soil to help with fungus gnats, and the leaf is rooted entirely in the sand.
