Once someone scolded me (not from this website) for including cultivation and other details.

SHE always looked them up, and told me that EVERYONE should do it that way because they will learn more by looking them up every time.

My feeling is that people that like to do research will do that, whether I write something on a label or not.
Most people know how to plant most vegetables, and have their own methods, so they will ignore my notes or be amused.

If someone does get a packet with instructions who did NOT know how before, and ISN'T inclined to look things up and write down the answers, maybe some of them will find it convenient. That's one reason I usually include two labels in each packet. Someone could bring one label out with them when they sow. Or split the packet for spring and fall sowing, or for succession sowing.

(Also, once I've composed a two-sided label, it's much more convenient to format a whole page or half-page that way, rather than allocate multiple different-sized rows and still keep them all aligned on both sides of the page. So I usually have more labels than I need. The temptation to deal out two labels instead of one is strong! And a few times I got such a good deal on a bulk packet that I include 3-4 labels so someone could share that packet with a few other people, without having to hand-write labels.)

Sighing!

I think I need a smiley with a sign that says "OCD".
Or maybe Dave could create a special smaller font just for posts that we KNOW are going to be nerdy. Nerd Font.
