If you for some reason or another cannot be strict in stat-photo-stat-photo order (or for me usually plant - nameplate) just take a useless picture from f.e. the soil before starting the next plant and you have a nice separator. Works especially well if you are photographing look-a-likes where you cannot be sure where one series stopped and another started.
