Fringe-lily is one of my favourite flowers: small, but magical to get up close to and ponder the frills.

They are a good container plant for something that is wee and delicate. Apparently, the tubers are delicious roasted on the coals of a fire.
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.
