Just looked at Accuweather... no hint of rain for over a MONTH... not until the end of October... and then only a couple of days projected...
(I decided that discretion was the better part of valor, and not to go up to the Sierra for hiking this year. Last year the low water levels in the lakes were horrifying... I was hoping to see the lakes in better condition this year; now I am worrying about what kind of rain, if any, we (and the Sierra) get this season.)
