Good Luck Tiento with your "rescue" purchase. Some plants can be amazing with their recuperative powers, while others, despite all the babying one can give them, turn toes up for no reason.........I just found out that Cafe Bleu is listed as a repeater. I'm sure that's not set in concrete but it would be nice. The only Iris I grow now is the variegated Iris, Pallida. It's been an easy care plant for me for decades. I hope the bearded Irises aren't much harder to grow....Btw: Pallida doesn't have very much scent at all, so just about any moderately fragrant Iris will be an improvement ......Maryl
