You don't give any indication where your pots are located. That makes a big difference if you can overwinter them in your garage or not.

I'm Southeast Michigan. I took several pots of crocosmia and put them in my cool, very dark, pump room. When I brought them out in the spring they had already grown new leaves about 4-6 inches!! The leaves were very pale. I cut them all back and put them outside. I did still get new growth and some blooms. But they were not happy. This year I am going to take them out of the pots and just save the corms.
